Knowledge about best practices for working with families affected by substance use disorders (SUDs) in child welfare, information about effective collaboration with partner organizations, and tools to improve the knowledge base about working with families with SUDs remains critical during health emergencies. This tool provides considerations, tips, and practice strategies to system leaders, administrators, and frontline staff as they develop guidance, education, and support strategies for the workforce serving families affected by SUDs.
